MIY Easy to make Gingerbread Houses and recipe and video.
Making Gingerbread house every year has become a tradition in many households. Ginger bread house don't have to be or fancy...for the kids its all about the fun and candies. You can make simple kits with icing, a bag of candies and the ginger bread walls as gifts for kids.
These are instant hits with the kids! Great holiday idea!

You can make them as kits and give to friends and family. A wonderful way to keep children busy during the holiday season is to have a gingerbread House making party.
Teachers this is a super class holiday craft to make with a group of children.

Remembrance Day Tribute ~ Hudson Parade!

A Day of Remembrance..... The Remembrance Day Parade which took place yesterday in Hudson, Quebec Canada, was indeed a day to remember by all. Their Spirits live on!

This is a most touching capture, because as I write this I am most chocked up.
In this photo Hayden Paterson (my son) is showing Kaiden Parkinson and me the poppy the cubs made for him while he was away due to his father's passing away just a few weeks ago, after a long battle with cancer. I was most touched by the cubs own tribute and proud at the same time that people have big hearts and such compassion, proud of the boys. Bob Parkinson was a dear Soul, a wonderful Husband to Lianna, a father of five, in a few words, a great man, also a well respected council member of the Hudson Community. He made his mark in many of us. His Spirit will live on. As such as all those who where here before us, and for us.

Let us remember so we don't forget. Remember the men and women who fought for our country, for they are our heroes! We have all that we have because of theme we are blessed and fortunate to live in such a wonderful beautiful and free country because of theme...Thank you!...and peace to all! The cubs made this beautiful wreath with by cutting poppy flower shapes in craft foam. I thought it was most creative. Wonderful creation and tribute by the Cavagnal Cubs pack. Great job boys ;)

Miy Paris Theme Holiday Decorations

Miy Christmas Special Feature

Miy Paris Theme Holiday Decorations;
tabletop setting, Chic holiday decorations, elegant gifts, centerpiece. etc..

My inspiration for my Holiday Paris theme decor was from my childhood nostalgic
Christmases spent at my grandmother's house.

The decorations that I created for my holiday theme table, even if they seem quite elaborate, can easily be created with very few craft supplies, available in arts and crafts and fabric stores and many various remnants from around your home. Make your holidays special, personalized it with style, make it yourself!

Miy Halloween Costumes ~ Zena Costume just added to the Halloween Special Feature

MIY Halloween Costumes for Adults

I love Halloween! It's the one time of the year you can really have fun creating an outfit. I do not believe one has to spend a lot of money to make real creative costumes. I usually create my costume theme based around the boot style I want to wear. I love boots! Then I went through the stuff that I already had and decided
to make this Zena outfit. It didn’t cost me anything to make this costume, except for some time, which I must admit was lots of fun to make!

Need some Halloween costume inspirations ~ I just posted and added the Zena outfit ~ come visit MIY special Halloween costume feature! Wishing you all happy Halloween creations! Maddylane

Happy Thanksgiving...

Giving Thanks ~ For our bountiful blessings
With all that is going on in the world with the economy these days; it is now even more important then ever to count our bountiful blessings rather the dwell on the things that we do not have. What the world needs is not for people to get stuck in the spiral negative energy of fear. Do the opposite, the more we are grateful for what we do have to more we are sending out good energy into the world around us. Thanksgiving is for giving thanks
for our many blessings....if we all did this everyday, the world would be a much better place, ! When you say "I Give Thanks" with genuine gratitude.... You will feel its joy instantly....for these are gifts of true of blessings
Happy Thanksgiving...Blessings and most of all enjoy! Maddylane
